I know I'm a little late the party with this one but I wanted to listen to some other recent album releases (i.e. Kendrick Lamar, The Gorillaz & Logic) to make a comparative analysis and formulate a deeper opinion about the album after multiple listens.

Released: 4/7/17
Rating: 9.5/10
Length: 49:52
Favorite Tracks:
Land of the Free
Rockabye Baby
Ring the Alarm
"All-Amerikkan Bada$$$" is the second studio album released by New York group Pro Era's flag-bearing MC, Joey Bada$$. At only 22-years old, Joey's lyrical ability is truly ahead of his time and it's something I've always admired about his music. His ability to create intricate rhyme schemes for long periods of time while simultaneously telling a story through his powerful lyrics.
The overall feel of the album's instrumentals were very 90's-like in nature, which tends to be Joey's niche sound. While I enjoyed the overall sound of the album, a little bit more diversity between each track wouldn't hurt. With only just twelve tracks, it tends to be a little shorter than the typical album, but what Joey lacks in quantity, he makes up for in quality. I found it very hard to pick out my favorite songs and found it hard to listen to the album without letting it play through.
Ultimately, I was incredibly impressed with this album. It had everything I expected a Joey Bada$$ album to sound like and I can only imagine which masterpieces he will create next!
