After the flop of his last album and recent personal struggles, Kid Cudi's career looked it was taking an abrupt halt; but life has shown that beauty comes out of pain. With that being said I am pleased to say that KID CUDI IS BACK!

Passion Pain & Demon Slayin' is Cudi's sixth studio album and includes 19 tracks. The album features the likes of Willow Smith, Pharrell Williams, Travis $cott and Andre Benjamin and includes productions from Dot da Genius,Mike Will Made It, and Plain Pat.

If I were to listen to this project without knowing the title of the album, I would've assumed that I was listening to Man on the Moon III (Which will most likely never happen). It definitely gives off the same vibes as the first two Man on the Moon's. The lyrics were short and simple but gave off the feeling that he was talking about something much deeper than what's heard initially, which seems to be a trademark in Cudi's lyricism.

The album's arrangement seemed to flow nicely together and the space-age sound carried on throughout the project. Most of the tracks hold a lot of replay value, which is vital. Since the lyrics are simple for the most part, you'll find yourself singing along by the second or third listen and you're affection for those songs will keep growing the more you listen. I absolutely recommend downloading this album and am excited to hear what Kid Cudi will come up with next.
