This year's "Showcase of the Immortals" returns home to New York this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. This 15-match extravaganza will feature around 100 of WWE's biggest and brightest Superstars inside of the 82,500 capacity arena. The pre-show is said to begin at 4 pm central time, with the main card beginning at 6 pm. I hope everyone has comfy couches and plenty of food and drinks ready because this is gonna be a long one!

Woman's Battle Royal

Prediction:

Winner - Asuka

Battle Royal's are always highly unpredictable due to the high volume of superstars involved, and this one is no exception. I picked Asuka simply because they did her dirty by having her lose her Smackdown Women's Title two weeks before Wrestlemania. I hope they at least let her win this match and gain back some momentum for the "The Empress of Tomorrow."

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Prediction:

Winner - Braun Strowman

Due to this being the only real storyline involved around this years men's Battle Royal, it seems like there are only one of two options. Both involve a spot with Braun Strowman, Colin Jost & Michael Che. Either Braun throws them over for the win or the WWE will swerve us with an upset elimination of Braun by Jost and either he or Andrade (who's in need of a push) could potentially get the trophy. My money's still on Strowman, through.

Smackdown Tag Titles Match: The Usos (c) vs Aleister Black & Ricochet vs The Bar vs Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev

Prediction:

The Usos retain the Tag Titles

I think the WWE realizes what they have in the Usos. They're terrific in-ring workers, both are great on the mic and they've been wildly entertaining ever since they switched their "gimmicks" to what they've become now. Black & Ricochet will likely win the NXT Tag Titles heading into Wrestlemania, so it would seem unlikely for them to have gold on both shows, although there is a first time for everything.

Cruiserweight Title Match: Buddy Murphy (c) vs Tony Nese

Prediction:

Murphy defeats Nese

Buddy Murphy is treated as "The Guy" in 205 Live right now and doesn't look like that is going to change. I'm sure the WWE is looking to break some Cruiserweight title records with him in order to replace his name with the likes of Neville and Enzo Amore.

Kurt Angle vs Barin Corbin

Prediction:

Kurt Angle defeats Baron Corbin

Kurt Angle's final match is incredibly underwhelming due to the fact that the WWE once again booked him with Baron Corbin. I really hope this turns out to be a quick squash match to give Angle his final W at Wrestlemania, but there's something in me that feels unsure about this. It's typically an honored tradition for wrestlers to "go out on their back," losing their final match. One perfect example of this is Ric Flair losing to Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 24. This will likely happen to Batista in his match with HHH and could potentially happen to Kurt. I'm still hoping Vince wises up and replaces Baron last minute with Cena and gives Angle the true farewell match he deserves.

The Miz vs Shane McMahon

Prediction:

Miz defeats McMahon

If you would've told me at the beginning of last year's Wrestlemania that the MIz would be in this year's Wrestlemania as the babyface, I would've laughed in your baby's face. WWE managed to actually get the crowd behind Miz for this match. Personally, I believe this face run is a good thing for Miz's career to give us a breather before we can inevitably love to hate him again as a heel.

Women's Tag Title Match: Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) vs Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs Nia Jax & Tamina vs The IIconics

Prediction:

Banks & Bayley retain titles

Given that the Women's Tag Titles are still very new, I doubt the titles will change hands at Wrestlemania. Although, I do believe that when "The Boss n' Hug Connection" finally do lose the titles, they will drop them to the IIconics. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay seem to be pushed as the main heels for the contest on Sunday.

U.S. Title Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs Rey Mysterio

Prediction:

Joe defeats Mysterio

As much as I'd love to see Rey Mysterio get another major, lengthy title run (preferably for the WWE title), I see this match as a chance to get Samoa Joe more proper push within the company. Having a healthy title reign as U.S. Champ would groom him better for potentially WWE Title opportunities. I'm personally excited for this match as I see both superstars as legends with still a lot more to give.

Intercontinental Title Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs Finn Balor

Prediction:

Balor defeats Lashley

It's confirmed "The Demon" will be unleashed at Wrestlemania against current rival, Bobby Lashley. The fact Balor will be in his alter-ego form, there's pretty much no doubt about his victory this Sunday. I've got mixed feelings about how WWE is using Balor's "Demon" persona and how it water downs his matches' predictability, but that's a whole other story...

Batista vs Triple H

Prediction:

HHH defeats Batista

Since "The Game's" career is on the line and the fact Batista is too busy to make a real commitment to the WWE, it's a dead giveaway that Batista will lose this match. Triple H is notorious for putting himself over in high profile matches in order to pat his own stats (*cough* Sting *cough* Booker T *cough*). I'm just happy Batista finally got his final match so he can go out properly.

AJ Styles vs Randy Orton

Prediction:

Styles defeats Orton

"The Phenomenal One" versus "The Viper" is a dream match finally happening. With tensions rising between the two on the last episode Smackdown Live, this match has all the potential to steal the show. With Randy getting the upper-hand on Styles last Tuesday, I feel it was an ironic foreshadow for his defeat on Sunday.

Roman Reigns vs Drew MacIntyre

Prediction:

Reigns defeats MacIntyre

"The Big Dog" returns to singles action against "The Scottish Psychopath" in a battle of what seems to be two future contenders for the Universal championship. Although this could go either way, I figured a win here for Roman would get over better with the crowd, being that most of the WWE Universe is now finally behind him.

WWE Title Match: Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kofi Kingston

Prediction:

Kingston defeats Bryan

As much as I've enjoyed Daniel Bryan's heel run, all future plans with him as champion should come to a temporary halt to give Kofi Kingston and the fans this beautiful Wrestlemania moment. I refuse to believe any other finishes that end in Bryan keeping the title. If it does end without Kofi as champ, I will lose all faith in the WWE's claim that they're "listening" to the WWE Universe and that "WE are the Authority."

Universal Title Match: Brock Lesner vs Seth Rollins

Prediction:

Rollins defeats Lesner

There's no denying that Brock Lesner brings a draw no matter what he does but as a wrestler, he has gotten extremely stale these last few years. Fans are tired of never seeing the champion on Raw and he continues to deliver little effort into his matches, repeating the same moves over and over again. Rollins is the antithesis to Lesner's recent performances. Rollins is a high flying, high endurance superstar with an expansive list of moves in his repertoire. If WWE really wants to take themselves out of this ratings slump, they need to move on with what they've been doing and invest in the future. Rollins as champion would signify that shift to evolve the company to greater heights. No one is more deserving and more over than Rollins to be the flag-bearer of Monday Night Raw.

Women's Raw & Smackdown Title Match:

Prediction:

Winner - Becky Lynch

It's an obvious choice that "The Man" will walk out of the main event at Wrestlemania with both titles. Admittedly with the current status of Rhonda Rousey's contract and Charlotte's constant pushes by the company, I'm not 100% certain Becky Lynch will win, which is exactly what the WWE wants us to think. This match feels like shades of the triple threat match at Wrestlemania 30 where Daniel Bryan left as a double world champion and can picture Becky Lynch holding both belts up at the end of Wrestlemania 35.
